Zhang Run, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, on an unofficial visit, congratulated Margarita González Saravia for her democratic victory in the last elections and for being the first female Governor in the history of the state of Morelos.
In a brief message, the diplomat pointed out that Morelos, due to its strategic location, is an area of interest for investments from his country and stated that he will soon go to officially establish working groups and interdisciplinary collaboration with embassy officials and Chinese investors and their counterparts from Morelos.
During the meeting, Margarita González Saravia stressed that her government will give priority to investments focused on the field that are sustainable and generate greater well-being for the people of Morelos.
She also stressed that in Morelos there are high research centers as well as universities susceptible to the promotion of technological and educational exchanges with the People’s Republic of China.
The ambassador was accompanied to the meeting, on behalf of the Chinese representation in our country, by the Minister Counselor on Politics, Wang Huijun; Minister Counselor on Commerce, Dong Wei; and the minister in charge of the consular section, Gu Xin.
