A driver was abused by officers of the Xochitepec Municipal Police (unit RP-0003) on the outskirts of Jojutla, heading towards Mexico City.
Under the pretext of not wearing a seatbelt, they intimidated the driver, threatening him with a fine of up to $90,000 pesos at the impound lot… and then demanded $15,000 pesos in cash in exchange for letting him go.
When he refused, they called a private tow truck, whose personnel acted aggressively and intimidatingly to forcibly hook up the vehicle. Officer Isidro Sordo Carmona can be identified in the video.
