Mexican lineman Isaac Alarcón has signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys. He will start training with the legendary team next week.
In a statement, the Dallas Cowboys confirmed the news: “Along with the draft picks, the Cowboys signed their 15 undrafted free agents and also rookie Isaac Alarcon signed his contract as well.”

Isaac Alarcón is an offensive tackle who represented Mexico at the U19 World Championships.
The duration of the contract was not disclosed.
According to EL UNIVERSAL Deportes, Alarcón is the tallest and heaviest lineman in the Cowboys’ roster for this training camp.
The Dallas Cowboys announced they acquired Isaac Alarcón García on April 27. He made it to the NFL through the International Pathway Program.
The International Pathway Program was “instituted in 2017, the program aims to provide elite international athletes the opportunity to compete at the NFL level, improve their skills, and ultimately earn a spot on an NFL roster.”

In April, the Dallas Cowboys announced their roster would also include a Mexican player.
The team said Alarcón would join the Cowboys’ roster through the end of the training camp. It was also said Alarcón would be eligible for an international player practice squad exemption, which means the Cowboys might keep him as an extra practice squad member, though he won’t be eligible to be activated during the 2020 season. He has since signed his contract with the team.
