The president of the Business Coordinating Council in Durango stressed that health conditions continue to be complicated enough to hold a fair in a traditional way
Although it will be the second year without the Durango National Fair (Fenadu) due to the pandemic, the positive is that there will be isolated events with all health protocols to take advantage of the facilities and promote regional tourism, said Miguel Castro Mayagoitia, president of the Council. Business Coordinator (CCE).
He stressed that health conditions continue to be complicated to hold a fair in a traditional way, but thanks to the fact that Fairs and Shows passed to the Ministry of Tourism, there will be a different dynamic and activities are being planned to develop in these facilities, not only in a specific month but the remainder of the year.
He said that the agenda on which Tourism is working is very clear and will give the business sector the opportunity to generate activities and activate regional tourism, taking advantage of the large spaces that exist in Fenadu.
He recalled that within the facilities there are very large spaces, and there are already other facilities to develop activities such as the convention center and the Mezcal Fair, which was installed by the Mezcal cluster in Durango.
The businessman pointed out that the generation of tourism is very important, and the innovation of a brand for Durango, so the Durango-Monterrey route, which is connected to the state, should be reinforced, and take care of all visitors who arrive by road area, for the generation of economy and jobs.
He pointed out that on the subject of cinematography, Durango is still betting, and three productions will come for this 2021.
