Yohali Resendiz

Mexican journalist Yohali Reséndiz shared a terrifying video that she received after being threatened and blamed the Morelos government for what might happen to her.

The journalist claims to have received messages and a call from an unknown number in which she was warned that she would stop “publishing blowjobs” or they would sexually assault her and then dismember her.

She also claimed to have received an extremely graphic video, which she shared on her network, in which the cruel dismemberment of the lifeless body of an unknown man can be seen.

Although she tagged the Constitutional Governor of Morelos, Margarita González, neither she nor the Morelos government have taken a position.

Yohali Reséndiz, from 2006 to date, is a reporter for Specials at Grupo Imagen, which covers: Excélsior TV, Reporte 98.5 FM, Imagen Informativa 90.5 FM, Excélsior, Exonline and Canal 3.

She is the author and responsible for the blog Periodismo a toda prueba and president of the Yohali Reséndiz Foundation.

In 2013, she won the award given by the Government of Mexico City for journalistic work related to the elderly; in 2015, she won the Mexico Journalism Award for locating the murderer of a young university student and achieving his capture.

In 2016, she won the National Broadcasting Award and in 2017 she obtained the Medal for Journalistic Merit, in the Reporting category, for her denunciation of child sexual abuse in schools (Matatena Case) awarded by the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City.
