The second edition of the Volcán Art Market will take place next Saturday, March 28th, at Casa Tikal in Tepoztlán, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The market will feature works by various artists, primarily those residing in this magical town.
The project aims to promote and encourage independent artistic production in Morelos, as well as to connect artists directly with the public, fostering art collecting at accessible prices and enriching Tepoztlán’s cultural offerings.
At the art market, you’ll find original works by artists Annabella Eatherley, Manolo Garibay, Antonio Guerra, Jocelyne Marmottan, Gilda Revueltas, Toña Osher, Enhebra Studio, and Daniela Wolffer, featuring a variety of formats and techniques, including:
Painting

Utilitarian Art
“With Volcán, we aim to create a space for the exchange of artistic knowledge within the local community. We intend for this market to be a regular fixture, and in future editions, we plan to offer demonstrations and short workshops on the crafts of each participating artist, bringing the public closer to the creative process and mindset. We also plan to host musical performances, book presentations, and more,” commented Antonio Guerra.
This type of market is also a space open to the exchange of cultures, languages, and knowledge from ancient times. To this day, these markets continue to be places that define our Mexican identity.
Remember that Casa Tikal is located at Av. Revolución No. 14, Centro de Tepoztlán.
