During this hot season, one of the most popular ways to cool off is with a cold beer… and what better way to do it than in Morelos, the “state of eternal spring”?
The largest flower gardens in Mexico and the world are preparing for another edition of BeerFest, the festival dedicated to “chela,” complemented by music and gastronomy.
Take advantage of a weekend to listen to renowned bands and artists and sample a variety of beer and food at this festival. Here are the details.
Where will the BeerFest be held?
As usual, the BeerFest will be held at Jardines de México.
This theme park is located in the state of Morelos, precisely at kilometer 129 of the Mexico-Acapulco Highway, near the Tequesquitengo Lagoon.
From Cuernavaca, it’s about a 30-minute drive, while from Mexico City, it’s a couple of hours.
What’s on at BeerFest?
As a beer-focused festival, BeerFest’s main attraction is the beer pavilion, with more than 50 craft breweries (national and international) exhibiting, selling, and offering tastings of their beers.
Among them are: Cervecería Cristo Rey, Cervecería Feroz, Mestiza Hidromiel Artesanal, Tepectzin, Once Maltas, Cervecería Hércules, Kepler, Beer Against the Machine, Chinelo, and the Dutch Embassy, to name a few.
In addition, a food truck area will be set up with a variety of offerings, including pizzas from Coma Pizza, tacos from Al-Andalus or Tacos Juan, burritos from Los Burros de La Chula, cochinita pibil from Cochinita de La Gus, and 17 other establishments.
To complement the festival’s activities, DJs and bands such as Kurado de Coco, Rey Kalavera, Cuarta Pared, and LDC Music will perform. However, there will be four headliners at Beerfest 2025: Molotov, Panteón Rococó, Kiny, and Alemán.
With so much beer, food, and partying, you’re sure to be exhausted. The good news is that a camping area will be available, as the beer pavilion will reopen the next day, with more music from Red Moon, Trébol y Little Boy, Mar-kó, and other artists.
When is BeerFest?
The BeerFest festival at Jardines de México will be held next Saturday, May 3rd.
However, as mentioned above, the beer pavilion and some shows will continue on Sunday, May 4th.
How much does it cost to attend the BeerFest festival?
There are two types of tickets to enter the BeerFest festival:
