The Morelos government promotes art as a meeting point and collective reflection.

The Ministry of Culture of the State of Morelos, through the General Directorate of Museums and Exhibitions (DGME), invites the public to participate in the discussion “One and Many Pages” with artist Amira Aranda, which will take place on Monday, May 20th at 5:00 PM, in the Manuel M. Ponce Room at the Jardín Borda Cultural Center.

The purpose of this event is to bring the public closer to the creative universe of Amira Aranda, who will share the experiences, emotions, and motivations that gave rise to her exhibition “They Through a Page.” The event represents an opportunity to discuss the representation of women in art from an honest and deeply human perspective.

Regarding this, Montserrat Orellana Colmenares, Secretary of Culture, stated: “We are excited to create spaces where female artists can engage directly with the community, sharing not only their work, but also the soul behind each piece.” She also emphasized that women’s voices in the arts require not only visibility, but also active listening and sensitivity.

This discussion is part of the government’s efforts under the umbrella of “The Land That Unites Us” to consolidate art and culture as tools for social transformation and reflection. The state agency reiterates its commitment to promoting activities that enrich the thinking and sensitivity of the people of Morelos.
